- ELIS is the online interface that is used to timetable, record and track your teaching sessions.
- As soon as possible after signing your contract you should find out your username and password by contacting ECaM through the tutor email address [email protected]. Once you login to ELIS you can change your password in the Your Account section.
- You should confirm your availability in the Tutor Availability section, and then in the Tutor timetable section you can see the sessions that have been offered to you, and also which ones you have accepted or rejected
- Tutor Timesheet section is where you must confirm that you have attended your sessions. Use the two drop down menus at the top of the page to select the Academic Year and the Financial Week Starting (e.g. week starting 20/03/17). When you select a week a timetable of the lessons you have accepted will appear, to confirm you have attended your sessions simply tick the box beside it and press Save below the timetable. Please note, if you do not confirm your attendance the system will register your lessons as not attended and you will not get paid :-(
- You can see the total amount of session hours completed during a given period in the Tutor Hours section
- In the Absence Cover section you can register sessions that you will be absent for in advance (Tutor Absence Dates) , and accept cover lessons that are on offer (Tutor Cover Timetable) - many tutors take on extra cover lessons every week. Please note that you must inform ECaM via telephone or email of absences that you need to take before registering those absences on ELIS.
- The Pupil Register section is for any lessons that occur outside of normal school hours (before 9am and after 3.15pm). For lessons during these hours you must collect a register of pupils in attendance of the class and submit it to ECaM using the [email protected] email address.
